Some nice fish were landed in the region prior to the heavy rain arriving and making conditions difficult.
Marlo – Flathead, luderick, bream and the occasional mullet can be found in the system, taking pippies and pilchards. Surf beach has tailor and salmon chasing metal lures.
Bemm River – The entrance is now open. Flathead are in the lake and channel chasing soft plastics, bream are also in the lake system taking local prawn and soft plastics.
Mallacoota – Flathead are biting on pippies, pilchards, squid, lures and soft plastics. Bream are around but not as prevalent, the odd mullaway has also been sighted.
