Monday’s 116th Orbost Agricultural Show was once again a huge success, with kilometres of cars lining the Princes Highway and hundreds of ongoers flocking to the Newmerella Recreation Reserve. While last year’s show saw sweltering heat, this year’s event saw a few drops of rain, but that didn’t stop visitors and locals from turning out to check out the variety of stalls and activities on offer. The traditional wood chop, horse events and livestock competitions were once again popular, while live music, a petting zoo and a snake demonstration also proved to be a hit.
