Handing over the keys

Handing over the keys

After 18 long years, Darren Robinson has decided to hang up the tools at Orbost Auto Electrics for one last time and embark on a new chapter in his life.
Darren hopes to travel and enjoy a hard earned rest.
“I am so very happy to be handing the reigns over to Todd and Kyllie Gilmour and I wish them all the very best,” he said.
Todd and Kyllie don’t officially take over the business until Monday, November 15, but have been working tirelessly for the past few months with Darren and the team to get a feel for the business in between his own mobile business.
“Due to COVID I was unable to get back to Western Australia to work unless I was prepared to do six months at a time and with twin three-year-old girls and a baby boy in town, Kyllie and I decided to start a mobile business instead,” Todd said.
