The Orbost Rotary Club had the eggs and bacon sizzling last Thursday morning at Forest Park as part of the annual Australia Day breakfast and award presentation.
Helen Mundy was awarded Orbost’s Citizen of the Year for her tireless work in the community, specifically with local sporting clubs. 
Sally Shanahan was named Young Citizen of the Year for her dedication to the Orbost Rotary, and the 2022 Orbost Christmas Eve Festival took out the Community Event of the Year, which was hailed as one of the best in years.
