Merungle Alpacas has had a busy year.
Their website has been updated and now includes a ‘shop’.
You are now able to get those fantastic ‘ Humphrey Law’ alpaca soxs online if you can’t find them at a market. Knitwear, brushed throws and rugs are also being added very soon.
Visit Merungle Alpacas onsite at the Field Days to see the new range of knitwear.
There’s 100 per cent alpaca and 50/50 alpaca-merino jumpers and cardigans.
On the livestock front, Merungle Alpaca continue to breed for improved fleece with each generation, the majority of their drop being white with a sprinkling of fawns and browns.
Eight pressed bales of fleece went to Dynon Wool this year where it will be re-sorted into commercial lines for the Internation market – a big step for the alpaca industry as most of us are a way off having even lines within one herd.
They will have three young, to be, wethers alpacas, at the Field Day, available for sale.
There are others at home base with varying purposes and ages.
They are dropping crias at the moment and there is always something available in the female lines also.
Looking forward to the Field Days and seeing you at Site i24.
