Kia Sorento – refined, never tamed

by
21 July 2025
in Local News

The 2025 Kia Sorento GT-Line Hybrid AWD sets a new benchmark for Australian families seeking a spacious, efficient and tech-rich large SUV.

With seating for seven and a smart blend of hybrid efficiency, turbocharged power and all-terrain confidence, the Sorento is purpose-built for both weekday commutes and weekend adventures.

Under the bonnet, the Sorento pairs a 1.6L turbo petrol engine with an electric motor, delivering a combined 169kW of power and 350Nm of torque through a smooth six-speed automatic transmission.

Whether you’re on the freeway or a dusty backroad, the Sorento delivers confident handling and ride comfort.

Fuel economy is impressive for a vehicle of this size, with 5.7L/100km combined on the AWD model – ideal for long family road trips without frequent fuel stops.

For those seeking adventure, the Multi-Terrain Control system and Active AWD with Lock Mode offer excellent traction in mud, sand and snow.

You’ll also appreciate the torque distribution display for real-time control insights.

Inside, the Sorento’s dual 12.3″ panoramic display offers

intuitive control of infotainment and vehicle settings, while the colour heads-up display keeps key info in the driver’s line of sight.

Comfort features include 14-way power driver’s seat, heated and ventilated front and rear seats and dual-zone climate control with a clever switchable interface.

Rear passengers aren’t left out, thanks to third-row air vents and fan control.

The Bose 12-speaker sound system, panoramic sunroof and digital rear-view mirror elevate every drive. Tech-savvy features like Remote Smart Parking Assist, hands-free smart power tailgate and wireless phone charging make everyday life easier.

Even more impressive is Kia Connect, offering remote vehicle access and over-the-air (OTA) updates, ensuring your Sorento stays as smart as the day you bought it.

For more information about the Kia Sorento GT-Line Hybrid AWD and its range of features, head to Peter Dullard Motor Group, located on 461-463 Princes Highway, Bairnsdale.
