Orbost Community College’s year 12 students and a group of committed staff members set the tone last week for a wonderful Book Week Character Dress Up Day, delighting many of the younger students, as they saw Minions roaming around the school grounds and interacting with everyone.

What has traditionally been a primary school activity was taken on wholeheartedly by these enthusiastic students and staff.

Planning began last year at the 2024 Book Week Dress Up Day and costumes were carefully crafted by designing and 3D printing their own Minion Goggles, scouring op-shops from Orbost to Traralgon and setting early alarms on the

day to ensure every finishing touch was perfect.

They have set the bar high for

next year’s leaders.
