East Gippsland Marketing Inc (EGMI) and the Committee for Gippsland will host a special breakfast event in Bairnsdale this month, designed to help local businesses understand and embrace the opportunities of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The AI Solutions for Your Business session will be held on Thursday, September 25, from 7.30am to 9.30am at Centre Combined Health, Bairnsdale. Breakfast will be served from 7.30 to 8.00am.
The hands-on workshop is aimed at regional businesses of all sizes, offering practical tools and strategies to streamline operations, generate new ideas and plan for future growth. Participants will learn how AI can assist with:
– Strategic business planning and idea generation
– Creating marketing content and campaigns efficiently
– Identifying workflows that could be improved with AI
– Meeting sustainability and government reporting requirements
– Safe and responsible adoption of AI
Industry experts from the Australian Regional AI Network (ARAIN) will present real-world case studies, showcasing how businesses across regional Australia are using AI to their advantage.
ARAIN works to support practical AI adoption in regional and rural areas, ensuring businesses can implement solutions effectively and responsibly.
The Bairnsdale event is funded by the Australian Government Department of Industry, Science and Resources through the AI Adopt Program.
Organisers say the session is a chance for business owners and operators to gain confidence in exploring new technology, while networking with other local businesses facing similar challenges and opportunities.
