Local motor racing speedster, Olly short recently headed to Phillip Island for round six of the Australian Superbike Championship.
The sensational and picturesque Phillip Island circuit is one of the world’s most decorated grand prix circuits.
Unfortunately the circuit produced a combination of highs and lows for Short.
He felt super confident on Saturday, qualifying in second place but it was was a steady downhill descent from there.
Some poor decisions made in regard to his wet bike setup and a gearbox that didn’t want to stay in gear hindered the rest of the weekend.
Short was disappointed to say the least, knowing that he had much more in the tank, but unable to fully test the bike.
In he three races, he registered two sixths and a non finish.
The next round is at One Raceway in New South Wales from October 3-5.
