Tambo Valley Golf Club is inviting the community to take a swing at golf this month, with its Get Into Golf clinics and fun social events designed for players of all ages and abilities.
The club will host its Get Into Golf Clinics on Sunday, November 23, from 10.30am to midday, led by PGA trainee professional Jack Young and golf community instructor Serrin Bertino. The session will cover the basics of the game, offering newcomers the chance to learn in a relaxed and supportive environment.
No equipment is needed — the club will provide everything
for those keen to give golf a try. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for juniors aged 6 to 18, with extra activities planned for younger children.
From 1.30pm, the action continues with a fun nine-hole Ambrose event, open to teams of four. At just $20 per team and with no green fees, the event offers a perfect introduction to the sport for non-handicap players.
Participants can enjoy a light lunch from the clubhouse or bring their own picnic to enjoy on the course. Registrations close Monday, November 17, and can be made by contacting the club.
Renowned as one of Gippsland’s hidden gems, Tambo Valley Golf Club
boasts nearly 200 members from across Victoria. The club continues to grow its connection with the local Alpine community through friendly competitions, social events and inclusive programs.
Upcoming activities include a Corporate and Sports Challenge Cup on Saturday, December 6, as well as a ladies-only golf clinic and champagne luncheon – It’s a Girls Day Out.
With its welcoming atmosphere, scenic course and community spirit, Tambo Valley Golf Club is proving there’s never been a better time to get into golf.
