The Buchan Precision Rifle Club 2025 Buchan Hill Billy Hoe Down has been run and won.
What a weekend it was – from the first clang of steel to the final shot, the heat was on, mixed with plenty of laughs and enough good vibes to fill the whole valley.
Shooters and spectators witnessed precision, chaos, teamwork, a few creative cuss words and plenty of donuts.
When the dust settled, Mitch Taylor was the winner of the 2025 Buchan Hill Billy Hoe Down NRL22X match, finishing ahead of Phil Nash and David Taylor.
Despite the heat and wind, 32 competitors rose to the challenge and conquered the SSAA East Gippsland Buchan Rifle Range.
It was incredible to see such a mix of shooters who travelled far and wide to join the competition in the middle of nowhere.
