Big things are happening at the Traralgon Greyhound Racing Club, with construction of the new track well underway.
The team at Unyte is working hard on the project, with the rail now connected to the remaining section of the old track — a major milestone in the redevelopment.
Strong progress is also being made on
the outside fencing, with gutters
installed and concrete bases poured for the new starting boxes.
The redesigned track will feature a
one-turn layout similar to Sale, offering racing distances of 350, 425 and 570 metres, along with a 280-metre trial-only start
for education purposes.
Traralgon has not hosted racing since July 2024, but its imminent return will provide a welcome boost for Gippsland’s participant base.
