As Bull Botanics continues to expand, the Lucknow nursery is building a range broad enough for an entire garden and deep enough to keep plant collectors interested.
The Lucknow nursery reopened more than two years ago, and both the site and the team are still growing.
The core range covers landscape trees, a dedicated range of Japanese maples, Australian natives, proteas, seedlings and tubestock, exotic flowering annuals, perennials and shrubs, hedging and screening plants, fruit trees and berries, and an extensive rose selection.
Customers will also find pots, potting mixes, garden ornaments and everything needed for plant care.
This spring will also bring a larger range of rare and collectable indoor plants, alongside major displays of carnivorous plants, palms, ferns, cacti and other arids.
But the range is only the visible part of the work.
Behind the scenes, plants are carefully selected and cared for to give them the best possible start once they leave the nursery.
Nutrition is tailored to different plant groups, root health is closely monitored, and preventative measures are used against pests and disease where appropriate.
Anything not ready for sale is held back. The larger team also provides practical advice, helping customers choose the right plant for the right place and establish it at home.
A new online store is due to launch in early to mid spring, allowing customers to browse most of the current range, check live availability and pot sizes, and place a click-and-collect order.
With new lines arriving constantly, the range never stands still.
Bull Botanics is open seven days at 53 Princes Highway, Lucknow, with ample parking.
