From Monday, August 31 to Friday, September 4, AusNet helicopters will be in the following areas conducting pre-summer aerial patrols:
Airly, Bairnsdale, Bellbird Creek, Bemm River, Bengworden, Brandy Creek, Brodribb River, Bruthen, Buln Buln, Bunyip, Bunyip North, Cabbage Tree Creek, Cann River, Club Terrace, Cobains, Cowwarr, Darnum, Denison, Driffield, Drouin, Drouin East, Drouin West, Fernbank, Flynn, Fulham, Glengarry, Glengarry North, Glengarry West, Hazelwood North, Hernes Oak, Heyfield, Hillside (Bairnsdale), Jindivick, Kilmany, Labertouche, Lillico, Lindenow South, Longwarry, Longwarry North, Loy Yang, Lucknow, Maffra, Manorina, Maryvale, Meerlieu, Moe, Morwell, Mossiface, Nambrok, Newborough, Newmerella, Nilma, Nilma North, Nowa Nowa, Orbost, Pearsondale, Perry Bridge, Riverslea, Rosedale, Sale, Sarsfield, Shady Creek, Simpsons Creek, Stratford, Tinamba, Tonghi Creek, Toongabbie, Tostaree, Trafalgar, Trafalgar East, Traralgon, Traralgon East, Tyers, Warragul, Waygara, Westbury, Winnindoo, Wiseleigh, Wombat Creek, Wurruk, Yallourn, Yallourn North and Yarragon.
AusNet crews will be inspecting powerlines to make sure the electricity supply across the network remains safe and reliable as we head into summer.
These works are undertaken as part of the bushfire safety program.
