More than 100 guests joined Oktoberfest at Dunetown near Marlo last Saturday, many dressed in lederhosen and dirndl for the celebration at Sailors Grave Brewery.
Berliner band The Beez played live music throughout the afternoon, setting the scene for a day of German-inspired fun.
Guests competed in Oktoberfest-themed games – including keg throw, stein relay race, best dressed, yodelling and stein holding, with prizes on offer and plenty of laughs shared along the way.
On the food menu were Bierwurst plate, schnitzel roll, currywurst, pretzels and kransky.
The Bierwurst was especially made for the event by Melbourne specialty butcher Meatsmith, using Sailors Grave beer.
The day also brought a special moment for the brewery’s regular patrons, with Tanya and Shannon tying the knot at Sailors Grave on the day.
