Bairnsdale Croquet Club is inviting locals to discover the health and social benefits of golf croquet during a free ‘Come and Try’ twilight session on Friday, October 16.
Running from 4pm to 6pm, the open event offers older residents a gentle, low-impact way to stay physically active while enjoying the outdoors.
Golf croquet combines physical activity with tactical focus, helping sharpen strategic thinking and mental flexibility in a relaxed, friendly environment.
All required equipment is supplied free of charge, with complimentary nibbles provided on the afternoon. Drinks will also be available to purchase from the adjoining bowls club bar.
Attendees are advised to wear flat, enclosed shoes, comfortable clothing, and a hat and to bring a water bottle.
The session will take place at the Bairnsdale Croquet Club, located on the corner of Grant Street and Pearson Street.
