The Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal is on again across the state this Easter and locals will once again be out in force supporting it.
This Friday, April 19, local fire trucks from Orbost, Newmerella and Marlo will be circulating with many excited children rattling the tins in aid of the cause.
When you hear the sirens in your street, please bring your donation and meet the volunteers at the roadside.
If you miss the truck, feel free to bring your donation to the fire station. Orbost Fire Station is the central collection point for the fundraiser.
An Easter raffle will also be held in front of Orbost Foodworks today and tomorrow, which will be drawn tomorrow afternoon.
Organisers are hoping locals, and visitors to the town, will dig deep and donate to this great appeal. Last year the local fundraiser raised a total of $13,852.85.
