Members of Jarrahmond Landcare Group met for a special celebratory lunch in a Jarrahmond paddock on Saturday, April 22.
The luncheon was held to recognise Jarrahmond’s 30 plus years of participation in the Landcare movement.
Following on from the difficult years of drought, Black Summer Bushfires and then COVID-19 lockdowns, it was the first social gathering held since its Christmas gathering in 2019.
Lunch was enjoyable and included a birthday mud cake, which was cut by Bronwyn Llewellyn, Cindy Robinson and Jeanette Honey, who are the current office bearers.
Cindy has been treasurer for more than 25 years and Jeanette has been secretary for almost the same.
