May is recognised as Cystic Fibrosis (CF) awareness month, where people who have the genetically inherited, life-threatening disease shout a little louder to help people understand their fight.
It’s also where CF advocates raise much needed funds to help the battle.
Orbost local, Judy Farley, is a dedicated grandmother of a CF superhero who annually raises funds in Orbost.
This year alone, Judy was able to raise $2463.30 in total from sales of raffle tickets, merchandise, and donations.
“Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets, merchandise or made donations. We will fight for awareness till CF stands for Cure Found,” grandmother, Judy Farley, said.
