Member of the Marlo Rate-payers and Resident’s Association and owner of Marlo Hideaway, Jeff McGrath, attended one of the meetings some time ago proposing to update the signage on the entrance to Marlo.
Recently, the newly constructed sign was erected.
“I came to a meeting, suggested the idea and then I put forward some designs that the locals had to agree on. I worked with council for the approval which was sorted really quite quick,” Jeff said.
Jeff largely did the works himself with a few other locals lending a hand to construct the sign however, the steel was laser cut by Marshall Brewer Welding and Fabrication in Lakes Entrance.
