It was another tough weekend for local racer, Olly Short, when he tackled round four of the Australian Superbikes Championship at Morgan Park Raceway in Queensland.
Short felt confident after testing and practice, hoping that would manufacture into some good round results, but it wasn’t to be.
His new suspension setup had him running within the top five but mechanical issues wreaked havoc all weekend and made it tough to keep on the pace.
After qualifying in seventh, Short finished ninth in one race, failed to finish in the next, before finishing 10th in the final race of the weekend.
Despite the disappointing weekend, Short vows to learn and improve on the effort, hoping to bounce back at the next round at Phillip Island.
