Community Advocacy Eastern Region is a not-for-profit, unpaid charitable body encompassing a cross-section of people in the community prepared to donate their time and efforts to advocate for the community.
The group endeavours to present the facts and empower the people living in the eastern region with knowledge.
The current advocacy program is the recognised loss of free access to public land for many and varied user groups by the Government utilising bodies such as the Victorian Environment Assessment Council and the Great Outdoors Taskforce.
They aim to turn a spotlight onto the concerns and issues that affect everyday people in the Eastern Region area.
To address these issues through public forums and action groups, to find solutions and lobby the Government to make change for the better.
