A Happy Hooping basketball clinic held in Orbost this week attracted a good crowd of enthusiastic youngsters.
Kids ranging in age from 8-16 were taken through their paces by professional coaches, learning new skills and correct technique.
It’s hoped with the new additions to their games, the youngsters will show significant improvement and go to the next level.
The new Orbost Basketball Association will begin on Monday, July 15, with the playing of the under 12, 14 and 17 mixed competitions.
The under 10 mixed competition will play on Thursday night.
Junior are encouraged to register ASAP.
