The diehard bowlers in Orbost continue to rock up for the weekly social bowling sessions at Orbost Bowls Club.
Wednesday’s cold damp morning deterred a lot of members, so those that did arrive for social bowls played a simple informal game with Bruce Kneebone being the top scorer for the afternoon.
Sunday, however, saw a much better turnout even though the weather was cold and windy, players retreating to the clubrooms after only 10 ends due to rain.
The winners for Sunday were Vanessa Frank (skip) and Kneebone.
The next social bowls session, weather permitting will be today, participants need to be at the club no later than 12.30pm so that the match committee can organise the teams.
