The second half of the Orbost Basketball summer season will begin with round eight from February 3-5.
Finals will commence between March 24-26, with grand final day locked in for March 30.
The eight week “Aussie Hoops” program will begin on Friday, February 7 from 4-4.45pm.
Aussie Hoops is a fun, inclusive and structured introduction to basketball aimed at five to 10-year-olds.
The sessions, which will conclude on March 28, have graded increases in competitiveness until participants are ready to transition to local competitions.
Rebbeca Tatti will run this year’s program, with the help from some of the division one boys and girls.
The Orbost Raiders under 16 squad basketball teams will run a fundraising car wash on Thursday at the Orbost Indoor Sports Stadium from 3-5.30pm.
Money raised will go to purchasing the specific uniform required for them to play at the Junior Country Championships held in Bacchus Marsh/Melton in March.
