The Klippel’s at Sugarloaf Creek believe this year’s lineup of cattle will present to a very high standard.
Sugarloaf are passionate about Hereford cattle, maintaining soft skin, cherry red colour, good pigmentation and incorporating improved data into their program.
Sugarloaf will be offering 36 bulls comprising of both horn and poll genetics. Sires include Ironbark Daybreak Q107, Mawarra High Time P155, Sugarloaf Quality Q105, Glenwarrah Marshall R276, Sugarloaf Ripcurl R127, Wirruna Redgate R203 and Wirruna Rockafella R355.
This year 14 ‘U’ stud heifers will be on offer. Including nine unjoined heifers and five preg tested in calf to Sugarloaf Tiktock T147, due to calve in August/September 2025. All animals have been pesti virus tested and bulls have been genomic tested and sire verified. Bulls will be delivered free of charge to Benambra and Omeo, via Danny from Brittons Contracting.
Sugarloaf’s on-property sale will be held on Monday, February 24, at 1pm, conducted by Nutrien Ag Solutions representative Peter Godbolt who has vast knowledge of Sugarloaf’s herd and program.
Clients who are unable to make it on the day will have the opportunity to purchase live online, via Auction Plus interface.
