Fishing in the region continues to be plentiful if you are patient and use the right bait.
Marlo: The rivers are fishing well, with bream, luderick and mullet all biting throughout the estuary, taking local worm, prawns and lures. For salmon, try your luck offshore or in the Brodribb River.
Bemm River: Currently the entrance is open with salmon and tailor chasing metal lures in the channel. Bream are still biting in the lake on local prawns and lures. If you’re looking for action on the surf, salmon are grabbing pilchards and poppers with enthusiasm.
