The Mallacoota and District Angling Club finalised its 2024-2025 season with its June fishing competition last weekend.
The event saw six anglers register to fish with 19 fish weighed in via photo.
There were no assisted juniors or juniors in the event.
John Stella was the winner of the bream section with a 41.5 centimetre species which weighed 1.6 kilogram.
In the flathead competition Barry Cowden was the winner with a 62.5 centimetre fish that also weighed 1.6 kilogram.
Stella was also the winner of the salmon division with a 44 centimetre specimen, weighing 1.1 kilograms.
No one managed to catch a leatherjacket.
The raffle prize winner was Pommy Parker while Debbie Preston won the registration prize.
The next competition has yet to be decided as a new executive will need to be voted in at the annual general meeting, which will take place on July 9 at the Green Room at the Mallacoota Hotel from 6pm.
