On Wednesday, August 20, after its regular evening meal at the Orbost Club, the Rotary Club of Orbost adjourned to the Orbost SES facility in Wolseley Street, to observe a training session being conducted by SES controller, Jim Barnett on vehicle rescue and recovery.
Members were impressed with the thoroughness of the training, the enthusiasm and commitment of the SES volunteers and the standard of equipment available.
The Rotary Club of Orbost appreciates the fine service provided by SES throughout Victoria and especially in our Orbost and District community in times of disaster, whether associated with fire, flood, or
road accidents
