The Victorian Fisheries Authority free fishing forums wrapped up in Marlo last week.
The Marlo Angling Club welcomed the roadshow, with Dr Justin Bell enthralling the crowd with a presentation on scientific surveys and modelling across Gippsland.
Bell was supported by Anthony Hurst and Craig Ingram.
It was a great evening with plenty of discussion from the floor, touching on everything from stocking programs, carp, proposed kingfish bag limit changes and habitat restoration.
Discussions also centred on, how we can keep improving access and opportunities for anglers in the region.
There might have been a few tips too, on where to snag a snapper down this way.
Marlo was the final leg of an 11 forum tour of Victoria.
