It was a massive weekend of basketball for the Orbost Raiders squad teams, participating in the East Gippsland and Moe tournaments.

The under 12 and 14 boys and girls teams participated in the Bairnsdale tournament, while the under 16 and 19 boys and girls sides tackled the Moe tournament.

It was tough logistically but it all came together thanks to the players, coaches, team mangers and of course the parents and families.

There were lots of wins and hard fought games, and some well earned semi final and grand final appearances.

The under 12 girls finished runner-up in the “B” grade grand final to the Sale

Sonics (20-6), while the under 19 boys went down to Morwell in the semi-final stage, 65-48.
