A significant crowd attended the recent Community Carols event held in St. Andrew’s Uniting Church on Sunday, December 7.
Those attending were invited, as they left, to contribute to the Act for Peace Christmas Bowl appeal.
Around $500 was raised that night and will help those who are doing it tough in countries where there is famine and war.
Organisers thanked those who contributed to this great response.
The crowd enjoyed some carol singing as well as a variety of items.
It was excellent to see so many different groups and individuals involved.
The Orbost Community College Primary Choir was particularly popular with their action packed performance of Felix Navidad and Super Santa.
Altogether it was a very enjoyable evening as Christmas was celebrated.
