Maffra Gymnastics will host 2024 Australian Olympian Emma Nedov for an exclusive athlete development workshop on Sunday, August 23.
The event offers Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) level two to seven gymnasts a rare opportunity to train alongside one of Australia’s top artistic gymnasts, working alongside local coaches to refine skills and build confidence.
The workshop schedule includes dedicated training sessions with Nedov, a sports nutrition seminar led by accredited sports dietitian Ash Keefe, and an interactive athlete lunch designed to help participants apply their nutrition knowledge.
Parents will also have the opportunity to participate in a dedicated question-and-answer session with Nedov, followed by photo opportunities.
The workshop is split into two sessions: Level 2–4 gymnasts will train from 10.30am to 1.30pm, while level 5–7 participants will take the floor from 12.15pm to 4pm.
To meet safety and operational requirements, visiting clubs must provide an accredited club coach for each session their athletes attend.
Places for the workshop are strictly limited, and advance bookings are essential.
