Families considering early childhood education options are invited to explore Gippsland Grammar’s Early Learning Centres (ELCs) during a series of Open Mornings hosted at the school’s Bairnsdale and St Anne’s (Sale) campuses throughout terms three and four, starting this Friday in Bairnsdale.
Held during regular school hours, the small-group tours offer parents a firsthand look at the classrooms in action, an opportunity to meet staff, and an introduction to the school’s play-based curriculum.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet Gippsland Grammar’s new Director of Early Learning, Isla Gillespie, who joined the school community at the start of Term 3 following an extensive career in early childhood education across Australia and overseas.
The upcoming Open Morning schedule includes:
– Bairnsdale Campus: Friday, August 7 (9am – 10am); Wednesday, September 9 (9am – 10am); Tuesday, October 20 (9am – 10am).
– St Anne’s Campus (Sale): Friday, August 21 (9am – 10am); Wednesday, October 21 (9am – 10am).
Located within the junior campuses, the ELCs provide age-specific Reception (three-year-old kindergarten) and Transition (four-year-old kindergarten) programs designed to establish a smooth transition into Foundation and primary schooling.
Visiting in person allows families to ask questions directly and gauge the learning environment firsthand.
Registration for the tour dates can be completed online via the school’s website.
