Sailors Grave Brewing held a special 10-year birthday celebration on Saturday, August 8, bringing more than 120 people from across the region, interstate and beyond to celebrate the special occasion.
Not only did the event celebrate all that Sailors Grave Brewing has achieved, but it also marked owners Chris and Gab as they mark 10 years from establishing the business.
The main feature of the event was oyster and five different Law of the Tongue Smokey oyster stout pairings, these were prepared by Isabella Love-Dack from Finn’s oyster bar.
Nick and his team at Sodafish prepared the food for the event and The Long paddock from Lindenow joined with their trailer providing desserts for the guests.
Canapés at the event featured sea urchin by Blue Kelp in Mallacoota, who are helping to restore oceans and are about to launch their canned products at the brewery.
Local musicians Smuggler’s moon and Whiskey Dram from Bega provided entertainment throughout the night for guests to enjoy.
With the success of this event, the brewery is hoping to make it an annual tradition, giving locals and visitors another opportunity to come together and celebrate the growing region.
