Hobie Fishing Series 17 is heading to Mallacoota for the final round of the 2026 series on October 10-11, and entries are now being taken.
Mallacoota is one of the series’ favourite destinations, where anglers get to battle the local bream, in waters that never disappoint.
Known as the Black Bream capital of East Gippsland, Mallacoota’s incredible network of lakes, rivers and waterways is the perfect venue to spend a weekend competing against the best kayak anglers in the country.
With the Angler of the Year race coming down to the wire, the event will be full of pressure, big bream and some serious competition as anglers battle it out for one final time in 2026.
