Orbost residents are disgusted with the service being offered by their local Commonwealth Bank branch.
The bank has recently been closed without giving customers advance notice.
Secretary of the Orbost and District Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Garry Squires, told the Snowy River Mail that the bank had been closed “with no notice to customers at short notice at least four times since November 11”.
“In every case the notice on the door gave no information as to when it will open again,” Mr Squires said.
“This is a totally unsatisfactory situation for businesses, in particular, but the community as a whole,” Mr Squires said.
