The third East Gippsland Winter Festival (EGWF) has wrapped up, with the popular Light Up Orbost event being one of the last in the calendar.
Around 200 people turned out to the event, mostly families with young children along with visitors from neighbouring towns.
While in previous years the lantern parade made its way through Nicholson Street from Forest Park, this year the congregation met at the Orbost Recreation Reserve and made their way around the oval while a fire juggler performed in the centre.
Attendees could then head to the Orbost Tennis Courts, where the Moogji youth Advisory Group held a Discotec later in the evening.
Following the lantern parade, on goers headed to the main street, where a number of shops remained open including the Orbost Bakery, who sold more than 120 mini pizzas, while the River Baker Cafe offered hot soup.
