It was a great result for the Orbost Snowy Rovers senior teams, winning all four matches against Paynesville in round 12 of East Gippsland netball.
In “A” grade, the Blues kept their finals hopes alive, easily accounting for an improving Gulls line-up by 33 goals.
Orbost currently sit in fifth place, four points behind fourth-placed Boisdale Briagolong, the Blues face a must-win match against the Bombers this week at home, defeat will make it very hard to partake in finals action.
Best players for the Blues on Saturday were Karina Robinson, Jewel Catlin and the emerging Lara Seal.
In “B” grade the Blues scored a percentage-boosting victory, winning emphatically by 52 goals.
The win sees Orbost, still in fifth place but only outside the top four by two points.
It was a closer match in “C” grade, with the winless Gulls getting within 24 goals.
Former Orbost player, Rylee Pardew, was among the best for Paynesville.
Orbost completed the clean sweep in “D” grade, running out easy 23-goal winners, with Mollie Welsh and Caitlyn Schafer standouts.
