East Gippsland Photographic society hosted Mary Mullane to judge its recent long exposure and open competition.
“A” grade and “B” grade print of the year has been run for 12 months and all first-placed prints are then sent off to be judged and awarded the overall trophy at the December meeting.

Club members enjoyed an interesting presentation ran by the Bairnsdale Show committee with their photography competition guest judge Samual Markham down from the central coast of New South Wales who gave a talk on various compositions.
The camera club has Samual booked again for their January meeting this time on zoom.
The club has two more meetings before the end of the year, meeting in room 16 of the Bairnsdale Hub at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
Entry via the Service Street car park. Anyone interested in photography are welcome to come along.
On November the 27 the club welcomed Len Metcalfe who spoke on developing and conveying a story in your photograph in a way that keeps the viewer involved and leads them through your image.
The December meeting is on the second Wednesday for December only.
They have their Christmas breakup and presentation night, as well as their one colour and open competition being judged by Trish McKeown.
Their meetings otherwise are the fourth Wednesday of the month.
