In Common will perform a 60-minute show combining circus and sculpture as eight acrobats build a unique rigging apparatus on stage and perform breathtaking acrobatics on and around it when it visits East Gippsland for six performances next week.
In Common sees a seemingly impossible sculpture brought to life by the company’s signature style of acrobatics – heartfelt, powerful, and intimate.
Virtuosic acrobatics and intricate choreography guide audiences through an understanding of the care we owe others in our community and the safety nets we collectively weave.
An exploration of tension both structural and relational, In Common lets you experience the joy of throwing yourself into someone’s arms and the warm weight of bearing them.
The six shows will be performed at:
– Sarsfield Recreation Reserve: Tuesday, January 21, 4pm and 7.30pm.
– Omeo Recreation Reserve: Thursday, January 23, 4pm and 7.30pm.
– Mallacoota Recreation Reserve: Saturday, January 25, 4pm and 7.30pm.
All tickets are free.
