A 21-year-old unlicensed driver has had her car impounded after being intercepted by police in Orbost on Saturday, January 11.
Officers intercepted the unregistered Ford Territory in Oates Street about 3.20pm.
The car was impounded at a cost of $1425 and the female driver is expected to be charged on summons.
This impound was as a result of numerous reports by locals to police.
Police are encouraging anyone who witnesses dangerous driving to contact crime stoppers or attend the police station to make a
statement.
Without this information or statements, they are unable to process offenders unless they happen to be in the right place at the right time.
