The Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist (BCA) combines Blind Spot Detection with Electronic Stability Control to help prevent the vehicle from colliding into vehicles in the adjacent lane or approaching from behind when the driver switches lanes.
When parked or stopped, Safe Exit Warning will detect and warn you of approaching vehicles from behind on either side, alerting occupants with a sound and visual warning if they attempt to open the door into oncoming traffic.
Using radar and camera data, the Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) system senses the potential for a collision with a pedestrian, car or cyclist ahead, and applies emergency braking to avoid or reduce the effects of a collision.
