East Gippsland Water takes its responsibility to protect customer information seriously and recently completed security testing and assessments of its systems and network.
“We are all aware of the recent data breaches of large organisations in Australia and we want to reassure our customers that we take the responsibility of keeping their personal information protected seriously,” executive manager business, Mathew Scott, said.
“Our recent testing demonstrated that our systems are secure, which will be reassuring to our customers.
“We undertake regular penetration testing, patching and updating of our cyber security controls along with partnering with both State and Federal cyber agencies to keep updated on the ever-changing cyber security landscape.”
