The final tally for the 2025 Orbost Annual Poker Run has been revealed.
The event, which was held on Saturday, March 1, raised a staggering $39,500, taking the 15-year total raised and donated to Ronald McDonald House Monash to $426,260.
This year’s poker run drew more than 150 riders, who made their way from Bairnsdale to Lindenow before heading to Meerlieu, Bruthen, Marlo via Cape Conran and wrapping up at the Orbost Club Hotel to enjoy live music, raffles and an auction.
The Orbost Annual Poker Run has been running since 2010 after Kim and Dave Hibberson approached Mick Colling, who wanted to give back to Ronald McDonald House Monash (RMHM) for their care and support after their daughter, Mackenzie Grace, had spent time at the Monash Hospital while Kim and Dave stayed at RMHM throughout her visits.
The planning committee for the event will get together in June to start planning for next year’s poker run.
