Orbost Hockey Club training has officially kicked off for season 2025.
Training is held on a Tuesday night, beginning with the under 10s and 12s between 3.45-4.30pm.
All other age groups are held between 4.30-5.30pm.
Members are advised to check your shirts and if you’ve grown out of last season’s, bring it along and swap it for a new one at training.
The lines have been marked on the ground, and the club are all set for the first game against Wellington on March 29, with the under 10s, kicking off the day at 9am.
Everyone is welcome to come and try out hockey, with no sign up required, just come along to training and see if you like it.
The club finalised its coaching appointments for the 2025 season several weeks ago.
Alison Farley will coach the under 16s, under 18s and women’s side, acting in co-coach capacity in the under 18s with Kerryn Volk.
Bree Kenny and Shelley Millward are looking after the under 14s, Mitch Farley has the under 12 job, with Alana Farley in charge of the under 10s.
