The exciting Hobie Fishing Series 15 kicks off this weekend, bringing Bemm River to life.
The kayak fishing tournament has already received more than 120 entries for the February 3-4 event – online entries close tomorrow at 10am.
The tournament is a cast and retrieve, lure and fly only, and involves an angler returning to the weigh-in area, with their heaviest bag of their live and legal fish (five per day).
Competitors will be able to register from 6am on both days, with a briefing following at 6.40am and fishing sessions running from 7am to 2pm.
The event winner will be determined by the highest combined total over two days, with all fish released back into the water after weigh in.
